Samrand Saeidi is currently an Assistant professor at the Department of wood and paper science, RIFR, Tehran, Iran. His national project entitled “Manufacturing of smart wood composites” has been appointed to be commercialized for the first time in Iran. He is a PhD holder in chemical engineering (CO2 utilization, modeling and simulation of membrane reactors). He has been appointed as outstanding reviewer of so many ISI journals such as Energy, Applied Thermal Engineering and Environmental Chemical Engineering. One of his review paper entitled „Hydrogenation of CO2 to value – added products – a review and potential future developments” appeared as the most highly cited paper in Journal of CO2 utilization since 2014 to present. In 2018 He visited Faculty of Mechanical engineering at UTH Radom. During his visit he closely collaborated with Assoc. Prof. Krzysztof Górski in the field of renewable energy sources.
